Great Taste awards 2017.

Caffe Prima 100% Colombian Arabica Coffee Beans - 2 Stars
The delicious Caffe Prima 100% Colombian Arabica Coffee Beans has received an Outstanding 2 Star rating and has been described by judges as an “interesting and complex” coffee bean. This is a single origin medium roast coffee from Colombia with a rich wine flavour and notes of orange peel.

Caffe Prima Roma Coffee Beans - 1 Star
Our most popular coffee bean, Caffe Prima Roma has been awarded a Simple Delicious 1 star rating. This medium roast blend comes from Central America, Brazil and India. It boasts a delicious syrupy body, well-balanced taste, with hints of citrus fruit.

What is the Great Taste Award?
The Great Taste Award is a converted food award celebrating the best in food and drink. It is widely acknowledge as the most respected food accreditations scheme for artisan and specialty food producers.
This year over 12,300 products entered for the Great Taste Awards 2017, 165 have been awarded a 3-star, 1,011 received a 2-star and 3,171 were awarded a 1-star accolade.
The awards are judged by renowned food critics, writers, journalists, and chefs, such as food writer and author Gill Meller, MasterChef judge and restaurant critic Charles Campion, author and chef Zoe Adjonyoh, baker Tom Herbert, and food writer / baking columnist Martha Collison, as well as food buyers from Fortnum & Mason, Selfridges and Harvey Nichols.
The judges were looking for great texture and appearance in each entry. They judge the quality of ingredients and how well the maker has put the food or drink together. But above all, they are looking for truly great taste.
