Garraways is proud to announce the launch of the prestigous Kanuka Fresh Leaf Tea as part of our offering. This fine blend of China white peony and elderflower tea that’s accented with marigold and mallow blossoms. The white tea balances beautifully with the elderflower flavour, producing a slightly sweet taste.
How it tastes: Silky, with a mellow taste and a lingering elderflower finish.
To serve one: Heat 250mls of water to 75°C. Add 1 heaped tsp of tea, allow to infuse for 3 minutes and enjoy.
Why it’s special: Bai Mu Dan – or Chinese white peony tea – is comprised of the leaf shoot and its two nearest young leaves. This creates a fuller-flavoured white tea, whose complexity is complemented by elderflower tea.
